CATA has developed a groundbreaking program to prepare Licensed Massage Therapists to work in the field of oncology massage.
“All the instructors are caring, flexible, attentive, and seasoned professionals, making each class a truly enjoyable learning experience.”
“In a profession that can, at times, be isolating, the Oncology Massage Program has brought together LMT colleagues and supportive faculty, a new community focused on care for oncology clients.”
“I came to this program eager to learn new techniques to apply to both my oncology massage and general bodywork practice—and CATA has not disappointed!”

This 7-month program includes 108 CE hours (2 additional classes pending). Additional hands-on hours pending COVID restrictions. You will benefit from a truly comprehensive curriculum and learn from expert faculty–LMTs, nurse practitioners, an acupuncturist, Lymphedema practitioner, and reflexologist associated with the most prestigious cancer care centers in NYC: Sloan Kettering, NYU and Mount Sinai.
We offer exciting externship opportunities, as well as the opportunity for an internship in CATA’s Oncology Massage Studio.
You have the option of taking the FULL PROGRAM, the CORE CURRICULUM series for a solid foundation, or individual courses. A prerequisite for all courses in the program is Introduction to Oncology Massage.
All classes are offered on weekends, and a monthly payment plan is available. For more information, contact michael@catanyc.com
