Thai Massage 101 is an eight-day, 16-hour course that presents the fundamentals of a traditional
Thai massage protocol. The course endeavors to offer students a distinct Eastern
based massage modality that will provide wider marketing potential to employers and clients.

Thai Massage offers students and clients a framework for stretching techniques
much like the array of yoga postures and defines a meditative approach to the method drawing from Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sen Theory provides a trajectory for the acupressure component. The course is constructed in eight sessions to help students fully assimilate the material by providing time for
practice each week between the lessons.

Become Certified in Thai Massage:

Thai Massage Certification (12 CEs) consists of eight Thai Clinic sessions ($50 each, 12 pm – 2:30 pm) to help students fully assimilate the material in preparation for the exam, while also giving extensive exposure to the instructor for guidance and feedback. These practice sessions take place immediately after the Thai Massage classes. Students will not only have an opportunity for supervised practice, but also to receive the work themselves. Completing this feedback loop provides a fully proprioceptive understanding to add to the theoretical and practical aspects of the Thai Massage course. In addition to the physical bodywork, the instructor helps students cultivate the spiritual and energetic aspects of the practice, leading to a fuller experience for giver and receiver alike.

Thai Massage Certification requirements:

~ Thai Massage course

~ 8 Thai Clinic sessions (supervised practice)

~ Written exam

~ Practical exam (July 7th, 8:30-11:30 am)

Material for the written exam will be from the Thai Massage course.

For the practical exam, students are required to perform a 90-minute, full-body
Thai Massage session from the materials outlined in the Thai Massage course.
