CATA’s Thai Massage Teaching Clinic offers supervised practice in a clinic setting for LMTs at all levels of experience. Each week we will start with an assessment in order to focus on your bodywork goals that day and tailor a supervised session to meet your specific needs. The Clinic provides each practitioner/student a kinesthetic learning opportunity while also working to resolve their specific conditions and bodywork goals. Students will be asked to either provide objectives they hope to resolve for themselves or for a client they are working with in their practice. Our goal is to provide each practitioner with valuable experience and tools for working with clients and solving problems.

Be a Practitioner and a Patient!

The Thai Clinic offers a unique opportunity for massage therapists to participate in a supportive and supervised teaching clinic with the added benefit of also receiving the work. There is a strong emphasis on body mechanics to promote longevity and efficiency. In addition to the physical bodywork, we focus on developing the spiritual and energetic aspects of the practice, leading to a fuller experience for both the practitioner and the client. Massage therapists who attend 4-three hour clinics will receive 12 CEs for the Thai Massage Practicum (NCBTMB/NY Certified).

Pre-registration is required, no drop-ins.

Please bring a flat sheet and loose-fitting or flexible clothing. Prior to your first clinic, you will need to fill out our health history form.
