Thai Massage 101 is a 16-hour course that presents the fundamentals of a traditional Thai massage protocol. The course endeavors to introduce students to a distinct Eastern-based massage modality that will provide wider marketing potential to employers and clients.
Thai Massage offers students and clients a framework for stretching techniques, much like the array of yoga postures, and defines a meditative approach to the method drawing from Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sen Theory provides a trajectory for the acupressure components.
CATA is offering the course for the first time as an intensive, which means that we aim to cover the material in the span of 3 days. We have scheduled it in a new time slot as well, so if you have not been able to join us on Tuesdays, here is your chance. Students may attend a single part for $100, but must attend all four parts and maintain a massage license to earn 16 CE NCBTMB/NY Certificate.
