Thai Massage 101 is an eight-day, 16-hour course that presents the fundamentals of a traditional Thai massage protocol. Each class is a self-contained unit, consisting of a unique Theory/History/Thai Culture “Dojo Talk,” followed by a 20-minute demo that details and highlights specific segments of the Thai Massage Protocols in the lesson plan. After the demo, students pair up and take turns practicing the lesson while they watch the instructor proceed through the maneuvers again.
Thai Massage offers students and clients a framework for stretching techniques much like the array of yoga postures and defines a meditative approach to the method drawing from Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sen Theory provides a trajectory for the acupressure component. The course is constructed in eight sessions to help students fully assimilate the material by providing time for practice each week between the lessons.
You may take a single class for $50, but will not earn 16 CEs unless you take all 8 classes.
