Katie Down, MT-BC, LCAT, is a licensed creative arts therapist, sound therapist, certified Reiki practitioner and professional composer/performer. She runs Sound Well Center offering integrative psychotherapy. She teaches deep listening meditation and offers sound bath meditations in the contemplative art of deep listening as a meditation practice.
Joseph Schmidlin DO MTP DOmtp, LMT is a classical Osteopath and sound practitioner with over 25 years of teaching and practice in the field of energy medicine including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda. Michael Jay is one of the first US students of Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux and continues to assist him with Gong workshops regularly. He is a senior student and facilitator of Sage Academy of Sound Energy retreats and trainings, and has assisted at the Open Center Sound and Music Institute program. Michael is well versed in the use of tuning forks in the Acutonics and Biosonics systems, and works as a health coach, utilizing these systems as well as the shiatsu techniques of Ohashi, and other healing modalities including EFT and Reiki. Committed to using sound for its immense healing power, Michael is the catalyst for the multifaceted sound based collective SVAHA (Sound Vision Alchemy for Harmonic Attunement) and is the Director of Therapeutic Sound at You Can Thrive–a vibrant community for women in and out of treatment for breast cancer.Registration / Cancellation Policies
